My best of nine for 2016. Thank you all for following me on Instagram and Facebook! I've enjoyed getting to know my followers and seeing your creativity also. Happy New Year! We have had a fantastic year at the Crafty Diva Knitting Circle. We've doubled in size and have formed a nice supportive community of crafters. Our vacation Knitters have returned for a second summer and have made beautiful projects. Jenn continues to keep Blue Pelican Gallery Gifts & Yarn stocked with the best of high-end designer yarns. I've enjoyed teaching and coaching these ladies so much this past year. I can't wait to see what 2017 brings for us. Much love❤️and gratitude ✨ to you all. ![]() This has been a very eventful and challenging year. I weathered personal storms and two hurricanes. Health challenges for me and my family members. The election was a dark cloud over the fall. I'm grateful for this years events and the lessons I have learned, but I'm determined to create a wonderful new beginning for 2017.

This is our last gathering for the year. Today's knitting circle was all about community. Helping one another through life's ups and downs. Our group has made squares to piece together a blanket for a friend experiencing a health crisis. We received a request to knit pink hats for the march on Washington DC in January. Martha gladly volunteered. The hat is gorgeous. Knitting in a group helps support and provides a sanctuary for women to connect, contribute and create together. I'm so blessed to have these women in my circle. Thank you Jenn. Happy Holidays and see you next year.
Our knitting circle is growing. Welcome new knitter Jane Grimm. We are all working on our holiday projects and a couple of special ones too. Our group is knitting squares to make a throw for a friend. Jenn donated yarn for us to use. Its great to participate in a community project. The end of the year is coming rapidly and we only have two more sessions before we end this year. Come join us if you can at Blue Pelican Gallery Gifts & Yarn
The knitting circle ladies and I went on a fun little field trip this morning to Kinnakeet Clay- Studio & Showroom. We made yarn bowls to hold our yarn. It was fun hand-building and playing in the Clay. We all crafted our own unique bowls. I can't wait to see how they turn out. Stay tuned for the reveal in a few weeks. Thank you Mallory for your patience in teaching us.
